CUT 2 Results

CUT 2, the second annual Carleton Undergraduate
Tournament, was held on Saturday, March 3. For this
tournament using NAQT novice-level questions, novices were
allowed to play on four-person teams, while
more-experienced undergraduates were restricted to 2- or 1-person
teams, depending on various criteria.

Our
champion, who went 12-1 on the day, was Iowa State Buggles,
consisting of Mickey Tekippe, Tad Patterson, Paul Tomlinson,
and Bob Urbatsch. In the finals they defeated
Carleton Ministry of Magic, consisting of Cheryl Klein and
Ted Salk. Third place, the final trophy position,
went to Minnesota Stan and Ollie, consisting of Scott
