Players and Coaches --
This is a reminder that, to encourage the proliferation of quiz bowl, NAQT is
offering high schools, colleges, universities, and other educational
institutions *free* questions (either an A-level or regular Invitational Series)
to host high school tournaments in states that did not have a single NAQT high
school event between July 1, 2003, and July 1, 2005.
Those states are:
Alaska
Arizona
Arkansas
Colorado
Hawaii
Idaho
Kansas
Maine
Mississippi
Missouri
Montana
Nebraska
Nevada
New Hampshire
North Dakota
Oregon
Rhode Island
Utah
Vermont
Washington
Wyoming
Please note that this applies only to high school events and to events to be
held during the 2005-2006 competition year. Non-educational institutions that
wish to hold tournaments in accordance with this deal should contact NAQT to
determine their eligibility.
Any number of institutions in each state may host under this offer; NAQT has
already reserved packet sets for events in North Dakota, Missouri, Vermont, and
Arkansas.
