ACF Fall Regional in Iowa City - November 12, 2005

The University of Iowa Academic Quiz Club will host the ACF Fall 
Upper Midwest Regional on Saturday, November 12, 2005, at the 
University of Iowa's main campus in Iowa City, Iowa.  

SCHEDULE: Registration will begin at 8:30AM Saturday, November 12, 
with announcements at 9:00AM and play beginning shortly thereafter.

FEES (max):
  $100 base fee (US$)
    -$10 per working buzzer system (no min.; will take until not 
needed)
    -$10 per experienced moderator (inquire in advance)
    -$10 for each subsequent team ($90 base for 2nd, $80 base for 
3rd, etc.)
    -$10 if also playing in TRASH Regional the next day
Minimum fee per team: $40 plus any packet penalties

ACCOMMODATIONS: This is an away game weekend, so pretty much any 
hotel in town should be easy to book.  There are several hotels in 
the Iowa City/Coralville area:

the Iowa House Hotel (http://www.iowahousehotel.com/) is in the same 
building as the tournaments, but may be a little pricey.
