Hello all, The University of Oklahoma Academic Team is hosting a mirror of UTC's Sword Bowl on January 21 at our ever-lovely campus. Because this tournament is fairly low-level, we would like to run a modified CUT-style tournament, with eligibility as follows: I. First or second-year players eligible for Division II at NAQT ICT 2006 may play on teams of up to four players. II. Other undergrads eligible for Div. II may play on teams of up to two players. III. Undergrads ineligible for Div. II or Grad students may play by themselves. Our prices will also differ for those smaller teams: I. 4-person teams will have a base fee of $80 (minimum $60). II. 2-person teams will have a base fee of $60 (minimum $50). III. 1-person teams will have a base fee of $40 (minimum $30). In addition to this, we will offer a number of discounts: I. Buzzer discount: -$5 per working buzzer system. II. Travel discount: -$5 per 200 miles driven one way (distances determined by Mapquest). III. Rookie discount: -$5 if you have not attended a tournament at the University of Oklahoma since 2001. Please register you teams by Thursday, January 19.
