USC Quizbowl is proud to announce our third annual packet submission tournament, Ghetto Warz III (subtitle as yet undetermined), to be held at USC on April 15, 2006. Fee structure: First Team: $65 Subsequent teams: -$10 Buzzer discount: -$10 Long-distance discount (over 150 miles via Mapquest): -$10 Early packet (before March 19): -$10 Late packet (after April 1): +$10 Very Late packet (after April 9): +$20 Minimum Fee/team: $40 As always, we're open to any special suggestions or deals one might come up with, as long as they're reasonable. Packet guidelines are as follows: (with packet guidelines at http://www-scf.usc.edu/~quizbowl/qghetto03q.html ) Rounds will be 20/20, untimed, with a full packet consisting of 22/22 questions in the following categories: 4/4 Lit 4/4 Sci 4/4 Hist 3/3 TRASH (including 1/1 Trash questions related to the culture of the 'hood. Yo.) 2/2 Art 2/2 Rel/Myth 1/1 Current Events 1/1 Geography 1/1 Other Theme packets are acceptable, if anyone's up to it. We've never done a mirror, but if another meet is interested, we're up for it.
