NAQT Canada (East) SCT field update

Hi all,

We're less than three weeks away and the field for the NAQT Canada 
(East) SCT, to be held at McGill University in Montreal on Feb. 11, 
is shaping up.

Here's who we have confirmed so far:

McGill will also enter a number of teams, depending on the number of 
available staff. At the very least, we will ensure that D-I has at 
least four teams so that a team qualifies for the ICT.

In terms of costs and accomodation information, please see the

canada/message/635) and e-mails; American teams, please see the post 
specifically for you

Two more important notes in this regard: We have asked NAQT for a 
discount on the packet cost because so many of our teams are coming 
from so far away, and we are waiting on a response. If we receive a 
discount, we will instantly pass that on to all qualifying teams, in 
addition to the distance discounts we are already offering. We are 
also still looking for buzzers, scorekeepers and moderators, so let 
us know if you have any of those--we will give you the buzzer and 
scorekeeper discount even if we do not end up using them. 

The tournament field can close as early as Feb. 4, so be sure to 
register before that. If you have any questions about registration, 
the field, costs or anything of the sort, please get in touch with 
me as soon as possible.
