FOGHAT 2006 Re-Announcement

Below is a re-post of the announcement for FOGHAT 2006, the latest
edition of my annual trash tournament, which is scheduled for October
14, 2006 at Northwestern.

I would like to give a field update, but to date, no one has
registered despite a few folks expressing interest. Since I would
like to very quickly find out if anyone is actually coming, I am
offering the 2006 question set (after the tournament of course) for
free to any team that registers for FOGHAT 2006 by the end of
September 15th, 2006. (You have to follow up the registering with the
showing up at the tournament and playing to claim that, of course.)

If you would like more info, see the announcement below, go to
foghat.squirrelsociety.org or e-mail me at jeremy_white _at_

F.O.G.H.A.T. 2006: Rock and/or Roll
The Basics

F.O.G.H.A.T. is a trash (popular culture and sports) quizbowl
tournament created by Jeremy White. The 2006 edition will take place
on October 14, 2006 at the Northwestern University campus in Evanston,
Illinois.

F.O.G.H.A.T. is an open tournament. Anyone is eligible to play
(unless you are on the writing staff). To enter, send an e-mail to
jeremy_white _at_ squirrelsociety.org

Like past F.O.G.H.A.T.s, teams entering do not need to submit a
packet. The questions will be written by F.O.G.H.A.T.'s executive
producers, Jeremy White and Ben Lea, as well as Brian Hight, Mark
Richey and a few celebrity guests.

The champion of F.O.G.H.A.T. will win a Fog Hat and other prizes.
Trashy prizes are guaranteed to the top five teams, the top ten
individual scorers and the top punt returning team.

Possible Discounts

    * $10 for a buzzer set
    * $15 for a moderator or tournament staff for the full tournament
