I don't
think I've ever had to define anything, but a couple
years ago there was a spate of "rhyming" questions, as
in, "Name the word which rhymes with X and is defined
as Y." Those were pretty bad. I still also dislike
the brute computation questions (like finding the
volume of 1.3 mol gas at STP) at a tournament where
pencil and paper are strictly disallowed. Talk about
annoying, especially since I love math.
