After thinking about this a bit and reading the
discussion here I've come to the following:
1) I
prefer the "cancelled neg" wizard power to the instant
tossup power.
2) I prefer the notion of the thief
stealing lamed bonuses rather than just any old
bonus.
And just a few proceedural
questions/comments:
1) Make sure you spread out the topics of the
fighter's questions. Having three sports questions on those
will piss off the geek or movie fighters.
2) OK,
would this senario work? The cleric negs and takes
his/her +5. The wizard realizes s/he knows the questions
cold and cancels the +5 "neg" to score the full 10
plus bonus for their team.
