Congratulations to TC Ford, who triumphed in
today's Harvard/Wellesley Singles Tournament, held here
at Harvard. TC defeated Erik Nielsen of BU 90-50 in
the final to protect his top seed. Congratulations
also to Vik Vaz, who defeated Mark Staloff 135-30 to

from group B (#9) took home books, donated by myself
and Ted Wang. TC took home a 20th-century Russian
reader; Erik nabbed Charles Van Doren's _A History of
Knowledge_; Jeff took a dictionary of classical mythology;
Eliot took _Guardians of the Sea: A History of the US
Coast Guard_; I took _The Hungry Ocean_ by Linda
Greenlaw; and Vik was left with an anthology of English
Romantic Poetry.
