yes, david said that he had not heard the entire
packet; he merely dropped by in the middle and didn't
realize what it was that you were reading. so he heard
only about 8 of the tossups, but of course that's 8
more than the minimum number to compromise the
tournament.
i think it's at least partly our fault; since we
were using the questions from the previous week, we
should have made it more of a point to remind people not
to compromise the questions until at least a week
later. still, as roger said, it is a good thing it was
easily resolved, and it's something that we can all
learn from.
