Wow.
I mean, wow.
There's just no
other words to describe it. I always thought Chip Beall
(as much as I hated his question quality) was at
least somewhat able to run a fair, large-scale
tournament. And now he pulls this stunt.
It's stuff
like this that keeps us from thinking of him as
anything more than an egotistical bush league tournament
jockey. He should have had the two semifinalists play
off, then allowed one of them to advance. Either that,
or allowed an extra team from L.A. There are so many
ways to handle it. This just makes him look
spiteful.
But hey, we knew that already. :)
