Of Trains and Bears

Craig muttered something like this:

"OK,
to answer your question Guy, it was actually
Haggai's housemate Nina that came though with that answer,
but several MAC members were in
attendance."

<grumble> It says right on Paddington's bloody *tag*
"Darkest Peru to London, England via Paddington Station",
fer crying out loud! Is it just me and my insatiable
love of "kiddie lit", or the fact that the train from
Oxford to London pulls in at the aforementioned station
that causes me to know that?

To forestall any
questions, a) yes, I own a Paddington Bear, and have
pictures of myself and him at both Paddington rail and
tube stations, and b) there's a stall at Paddington
where you can buy Paddington stuff, including a
handmade limited edition Great-Aunt Lucy for something
like 100.

<grin> OK, it's just me...
