Just as a legal note to Bruce's non-compete
comments. Depending upon the technical geographic location
of ESPN versus BaseballHQ, there's a good chance
your non-compete wouldn't hold up. The courts are
extremely reluctant to uphold non-compete agreements and an
agreement which prevents you from acquiring another job in
the same industry (especially if its based somewhere
else in the country) is unlikely to be upheld.
Non-compete agreements can often be successfully argued to be
a form of involuntary servitude.
