Re: Literature Distribution

I personally wouldn't mind a bit more drama in
"literature." Obviously, there aren't as many famous dramatic
works compared to regular prose, but there are
certainly important theatrical works that should be
studied, especially if you view the history of all
literature. Many great authors wrote plays just as many great
composers wrote operas. But just as one has to identify
major characters in a book, one should identify major
characters in a play. One should be familiar with current
playwrights like Tom Stoppard, August Wilson, Edward Albee,
and Sam Shepard whose works are considered to be
worthy of academic performance and study.
