Two thoughts, really:
1) My dad was
describing the people of the Republican and Democratic
National Committees as people who would "vote for Attila
the Hun's political strategist if he were nominated."
Now, is it just me, or would Attila the Hun's
Political Strategists make a GREAT name for a trash
team?
2) And how 'bout that Bill Clinton, making the long
walk through the Staples Center corridor as if he were
Bill Goldberg, minus security. I was having wrestling
flashbacks, and that's Not a Good Thing at a political
convention. Meanwhile, his speech was about as useful to the
Gore campaign as if he had simply dropped his pants
and
