Philly Experiment Thoughts

Unofficially, Princeton (Jeff Hoppes, Steve
Lawrie, Larissa Kelly) was playing a Chicago (Chris
Goheen, Lorin Burte, Dan Fuller, and maybe somebody else)
team for the title when I left before dying of hunger
spasms. Roger Craig was tourney high scorer.

Quick
thoughts - I'll stop posting on players being nice,
because it's happened so many times now that I've come to
expect it. I came here to have a good time, and I did.
Players were also quite courteous in dealing with
protests (particularly one that involved my
error).

Games were for the very large part competitive -
particularly since the questions reminded me why I decided to
switch to moderating. I was also impressed with the two
all-high school teams, whose knowledge base is a heck of a
lot better than mine is now. Questions were probably
better than what I've seen in the past few tourneys - I
noticed that teams complained rarely, if at
all.

Once again, I had fun - thanks to everyone for coming
and making it an enjoyable experience.
