Crimson Puppy Chow IV - 10/14/00 _at_ BU

Boston University, in conjunction with Harvard
University, is proud to announce Crimson Puppy Chow IV: Dog
Day Afternoon, to be held at Boston Universitys
College of Arts and Sciences on Saturday October 14th,
2000. This event typically serves as a tune-up for the
year and a way for newer players to gain experience
competing against their peers. Dont see any reason to
screw with that balance, so well stick with it for
another year.

Continuing in the tradition of
previous CPCs, this years tournament will be a junior
bird event. Players are only eligible if they've had
one year or less of collegiate tournament experience
through NAQT, TRASH, or CBI play. (EXCEPTION: Players
with only CBI experience will be given leniency up to
two years of experience, since CBI only holds
tournaments once or twice a year.)

To that end,
players of all ages and academic levels are eligible, so
long as they meet that experience requirement. A 17
year old freshman is just as eligible as a 29 year old
doctoral candidate, as long as both have had one year or
less of collegiate play.
Rules will be modified
NAQT: no clocks will be used. All rules will be
enforced and in effect except those dealing with game
clocks. Questions will be provided by NAQT, LLC
(<a href=http://www.naqt.com target=new>http://www.naqt.com</a>), so no submissions will be required.

Fees
will go as follows:
$90 base fee
-$10 per
competent moderator
-$10 per working buzzer
system
-$10 for each extra team after the first
$60
minimum fee/team*

*NOTE: Teams without an
established program, as well as teams working to establish a
relatively new program, may be given leniency in entry fees.
Just ask!
