I would like to dispute Kenny Peskin's post,
specifically as it pertains to MIT Quizbowl's announcement of
Beaver Bonspiel VII. We have ALWAYS and CONSISTENTLY
maintained the October 28, 2000 date as the date of the
tournament. No other alternative date was ever considered or
mentioned.
Jake Parrott, TD of Bonspiel VI, even made an
announcement to that effect at the close of last year's
tournament.
I should hope that in the future people would check
their e-mail and official announcements before
levelling spurious accusations and causing needless
offense.
