Since people have begun to post results of what
happened at other qualifiers, I will pass along a very
brief recount of what happened at the first qualifier
in Cambridge/Boston on Sunday.
Personally, I
only saw one other quiz bowler at the tryouts, though
I'm sure there were more. David Farris of Harvard and
I were numbers 16 & 17 in line for the 9 AM
testing; we happened to run into each other there. Both of
us passed the test, and thus qualified to sit by our
phones on October 20th.
I'm guessing there were
more northeast QBers testing their mettle there than
just the two of us. If anyone knows of any others who
made a run, it'd be good to know who else to pull
for!
