Summer of Kleist

The first Summer of Kleist Tournament was held at
the University of Michigan on Sept. 23, 2000. Nine
teams participated, the format being a full round robin
followed by two games of ladder play, followed by a one
game final. 
The final game, between Michigan A
(Ezequiel Berdichevsky, Adam Kemezis, Haggai Elitzur, and
Ryan McClarren) and Legend of the Drunken Masters
(Andrew Yaphe, John Nam, John Edwards, and Chris
Zippelman) ended in a tie after 20 questions, and was
decided by a three game tiebreaker that Michigan won 2-1.
