Nothing NEEDS to be said...

I think it's time for some people to realize that
you can't be friends with everyone. I don't really
know specifically what went on last night, but let's
say I have a pretty good idea, if I rely on some past
history.
Anything personal that's going on between
people on the circuit is just that -- personal. I have
yet to meet anyone who plays qb who dislikes another
player simply for straight qb reasons. I myself
(despicable at I am in some eyes) have long since forgiven
the masters of the circuit for the many beatings I've
taken. Any dislike I harbor for persons qb-related is
strictly personal.
Let's get it straight, if you don't
like someone on the circuit, it's strictly personal.

IMPORTANT POINT: You have to do something wrong to be
disliked. And you have to do something right to be
forgiven. AND, the other person is under no obligation (qb
or otherwise) to forgive you and go back as if
nothing happened. This goes for everyone.
Last point:
If someone doesn't forgive you, accept it. You can't
be friends with everyone, no one can. Don't blame
quizbowl, don't even blame other people. Accept
it.

ruthlessly yours,
josh
