I think the worst neg I ever got was last year
when the answer was clearly _Gulliver's Travels_.
Right after I buzzed in, I started thinking, "Ok, who's
the _Gulliver's Travels_ guy?", and sat there with my
chin in my lap until the moderator called time and
finished the question for the other team. Their captain
buzzed in and answered, "Umm, _Gulliver's Travels_?",
expecting a trick.
The hell of it is that I didn't
even need the author, and had you directly asked me
who wrote the book, I would have said Swift.
