ANNOUNCEMENT: St. Louis Open II

Hi, all.

This is the last call for
participants for the St. Louis Open II: The Bhan-Einstein
Condensate, an open ACF-style tournament to be held at
Washington University in St. Louis on Saturday, Oct. 28.
There will be separate awards for a second division
comprised of freshman and sophomore teams. All teams are
welcome to participate, and I can play matchmaker for
those interested in playing that have no team. I will
accept registrations through Wednesday, Oct. 25 and then
close the field. The following teams are currently
registered:

Oklahoma (3)
Wisconsin (1)
Jeremy White, et al.
(1)
Illinois (1-2)
Kentucky (2)
Chicago (1)
Indiana
(1)
St. Thomas (1)
Wichita St. (2)
Wash. U.
(0-1)

All the questions will be written by me, so no packet
submission is necessary. The fees are as
follows:

Base Fee: $100
-$5 per working buzzer
system
-$10 per competent official (determined by me)
-$15
for traveling 400+ miles one way (determined by
Yahoo!)
+$20 to purchase questions
+$50 for
insolence

Also, following SLO II is the Terminal Academic
Deficiency Disorder (TADD) Bowl, a singles tournament
written by several members of the Wash. U. Academic Team.
This tournament will be held on Sunday, Oct. 29. If
you're interested in playing in TADD Bowl, send an
