Stats2K update

(Imaginary voice asks,) "Hey, didn't you write a
stat-keeping spreadsheet once?"

Um... yeah. That was
Stats99.xls, version 4.0 still out there, still with a bug or
two that I meant to fix and never had
time.

This weekend I'll have some time. I can fix what was
wrong with Stats99 and add new things if people want
them (or take away annoying things if people
don't).

I was going to write an on-line version with a
database backend. Ah, the hopes and dreams. :-) That's not
out of the question but looking unlikely at the
moment as a matter of time commitment.

However, I
think I could pull off a web-based version that had no
database backend but *did* support automatically exporting
stats and standings to a spreadsheet. With javascript
(but probably not java).

Let me know what
sounds best. Thanks!
Matt
