I know all anyone wants to talk about is the
election, but I really appreciated the effort somebody made
when they tried to shift the conversation to NAQT. I
know when my team discussed the election at pracitice,
it got pretty crazy, and my poli sci, DC based
school has rehashed the situation ad nausea.
So,
anyone want to discuss quiz bowl? The tournament
tomorrow will be the 2nd D1 tounament the MidAtlantic
region has had this year, and I'm pretty excited about
it. Afterwards, Tim mentioned he might restart the
whole Top 25 thing, which will be pretty neat. It
doesn't mean much, but it does offer teams well deserved
recognition and provide knowledge of team strength when going
to big places like PennBowl. It also has no impact
on who gets the chance to win national tournaments,
which is a nice thing. All in all, I just wanted to
write a post that tried to move away from the election.
