a modest proposal

All righty.

OK. Here's an
idea.

Provided the USA national soccer team win Wednesday over
Barbados, we qualify for the hexagonal or the final round
of North American World Cup qualifying.

One
of those games, I would almost be certain, would be
at RFK Stadium which was packed I hear for the game
against Guatamala.

I say that we organise a group
of some sort to buy tickets together as soon as they
are open. I figure tickets would run about $20-$30 or
so a pop, and we could go somewhere after the
game.

Get back to me if you're interested. When tix go on
sale I'll be sure to order them on my credit card
(whether or not I insist on getting $$$ in advance is
dependent on whether or not refunds will be possible ;-) If
there are excess tix, then I can sell them on the net
pretty easily to some friends on rec.sports.soccer.
