Re: Truest Competition Format

I especially like this quote, both for its
substance and for its use of the "<i></i>"
convention. I'm a bit disappointed that Yahoo! does not allow
us to embed HTML. :-(

More in another post,
probably...

Let's take a <i>reductio ad

would best reward such teams? A tournament in which the
"canon," as it were, was declared ahead of time and
possessed no relevance to anything any of the participants
might actually know other than by deliberately "working
at the game". If I had my choice, the "truest" (and
I say this fully aware of the hazards of using that
word) competition would be between players who had not
"studied" for QB at all, who had come by their knowledge
"honestly", so to speak.
