JV Tournament Questions, Part III

Being new at advertising myself, it dawned upon
me that perhaps interested parties would want to
know about my background in the field. This is my
third year playing Quiz Bowl for Parkview High School
in Lilburn, Georgia. At the time that this is being
typed, I am the lead scorer on my team, and am about to
try out for PAC. I am also on the school Science Bowl
team, which, in two years of existence, has won the
state championship twice (I myself was not on the team
last year due to scheduling conflicts, but this year I
am, in practice, the high scorer). I have been given
the position of coordinating the questions for the
2001-2002 Panther Bowl, Parkview's JV tournament held each
year in October. At this tournament, the students
write the questions, and I myself have extensive
experience in question writing and styles of questions. My
specialties on the team are History, Science, and Art,
however I can write questions in all categories. If you
desire references, contact my coach, Michael Bailey, at
mpbailey_at_.... I promise that I will be the only person to see
the questions until I send them to the tournament. I
would like to have at least two months advance notice
for a tournament, and will try to send the questions
to the hosting school at least a week in advance so
that the team can proofread the questions for
ambiguities, inaccuracies, or other such mistakes. Although I
try to confirm my facts as much as possible, it is
impossible to guarantee total accuracy throughout an entire
tournament, especially since some of the more obscure facts
are, sometimes, in debate. However, I will try to make
my questions as accurate and fair as possible,
written to your specifications, in a timely manner. If
you want a sample of my questions contact me and I
will send you a 20 questions sample in the format of
your choosing (pyramid style, "short and sweet", mix).
