ACF MidWest Final Update

To those who might be interested,

Here's
the plan for this Saturday. The tournament will be at
Cobb Hall (where all the Chicago tournaments are). If
you need directions then please e-mail Mike Altman -
mbaltman_at_.... I can also give you directions, but very poor
ones.

Plan on being there by 8:45; Matches will
start no later than 9:15. IF YOU ARE NOT HERE BY 9:20,
THEN YOU WILL FORFEIT YOUR FIRST MATCH. Also, if any
of the schools that submitted a packet (Wisconsin,
both Wash U's, two Illinois') would like a first round
bye, then let me know and the first person I hear from
will get it, after that priority will go to all other
competitors, so if any of you want/need a first round bye,
then e-mail me before Thursday at midnight.

Now
here's the final list of confirmed teams competing. If
you want to have a team name get it to me by tomorrow
(Thursday) night by midnight, otherwise I will be forced to
name you.

Illinois - 3

Michigan -
3

WashU - 2

Iowa State - 1

Northwestern -
1

Wisconsin - 1

Indiana - 1

Chicago - most
likely 3 house teams.

At this point the
plan is for 15 teams, so we'll do a full round robin.
If any team has a two game lead on the field, it is
the winner. Otherwise we'll go into a best of three
finals series with the earlier result carrying over. If
there is a tie for the second place team, then that tie
will be broken by a match. More specifics will be
delineated on Saturday.

If you have any
questions, concerns, problems, then let me know,
(suby10_at_...)

See many of you on Saturday,

Subash
