The two other pleas, which got cut off when I hit
the wrong button:
To the teams who brought
buzzers to the SCT, please perform some maintenance on
your buzzers. I know this isn't coming from the right
person (Rutgers doesn't own a buzzer system, although we
may be getting one in the next few months), but we
played on only _one_ fully functional buzzer system
yesterday (I have a newfound respect for the Judge). I
can't imagine it's too hard or expensive to replace the
little incandescent bulbs on some systems; the
phone-jack connectors on others require a familiarity with
tools to replace, but for the sanity of the teams who
play on your buzzer systems, please make the
effort.
To all those posting stats, could you put
tabs in the stats, so that all of us reading them
don't have to do it for ourselves to make the stats
legible? I realize this is impossible on Yahoo, but on the
mailing list it would save all of us some time. (I don't
know what program this is that prints out stats
without tabs, but if it's Stats99 then, Matt, I suggest
you fix this in the next revision.)
