Hi again -- while I'm in this streak of posting
messages, I figured one more wouldn't hurt. First, I
finally noticed that the ppb stats were added by the
person from UGA, not Charlie or UTC or NAQT or R or any
other sets of initials, so never mind those last two
posts.

On another note, I wanted to reiterate previous
posts and urge teams at this weekend's CBI regionals to
tell CBI-only teams about the circuit. I played in CC
tournaments in 91-92; after that, my only quizbowl experience
over the course of the next 6 years was 3 CBI
regionals (93, 94, and 96), because I had no idea there was
such a thing as ACF or any other tournaments besides
the CBI regional. I only discovered the existence of
ACF in 98, when I was looking for tournaments for the
CC team that I coach. I suppose the information
access is better now, since we have this internet thing
now. Still, it can't hurt to ask other teams if
they're interested in other tournaments. Someone
mentioned that many teams won't be able to participate
because of funding issues and such things, but others may
not be participating simply because they've never
heard of ACF or NAQT or such things.
