If there are
only 12 teams at this regional, they will have to play
each other. Therefore, one of these 10 Titans of
Quizbowl will wind up finishing 2-9 with the corresponding
problems with PP23, bonus conversion, etc.,
etc.
While the Titans of Quizbowl knock each other around, a
upper-middle team at an otherwise weak regional can knock
around the really bad teams, finish 9-4 and have better
stats, PPG, etc.
