Hi everyone!
I'm the president of
Dartmouth College Bowl at the moment and we are on the
waitlist for the Div. II ICT's (currently 5th). This
presents one small problem for us. Our funding regulations
states that we have to apply for airfare funding 45 days
in advance of travel, a date that falls this coming
Wednesday. We definitely want to go if there is a slot open,
however we have very little way of knowing what spot we
are on the waitlist (i.e. if we have a chance of
making it in) before we actually get the
invite.
Therefore, I'm asking that if you are on the div. II invite
list or waitlist above us and are NOT going for sure,
please e-mail us at cbowl_at_... to let us know.
I promise I will not spread it around if you don't
want it made public. I have to defend the funding this
Wednesday and this will allow me to give the committee a
better idea of whether or not we'll be making good use
of it.
