Re: Earnhardt's death, I had watched maybe five
minutes of FOXs pre-race coverage, and they happened to
be interviewing Earnhardt. I remember him saying
that he was 'concerned about the wind' and (more
eerily) that he thought the crowd 'would see something
today that haven't seen before.' Creepy...I'm probably
not going to watch the news tonight, but I wonder
whether or not they'll show more of what he said (I
didn't catch the whole thing...my Sixers were playing
;-). I think the time has come to slow the cars down.
A death a year isn't worth the excitement.
