My
first theory was that one of the lovely lasses from
Penn was responsible for that page, given the
reference to Penn Bowl and the fact that Penn Bowl was the
centre of one of her oeuvres.
Would the
esteemable Miss Bowers put in a reference to PACE NCT's
without having attended one? But then again to refer to
the NSC as the NCT without having known about it is
something a non-attender would do.
I confess that I
might have told her of the first NSC, which by all
accounts seems to have been raunchier than the second and
third editions of such.
But I did notice a
certain percentage of words that were spelled correctly
('behaviour', 'apologise' come to mind immediately.) I do hope
this does not bring me to suspicion as I have been
known to eschew the bastardisations of the Yankee
schoolmaster (Noah Webster) in my previous postings.
