A team of all-stars from Gallaudet's high school
competition for deaf players went to Panasonic in 1999. PAC
set up a specially designed room in which each team
had its own computer which displayed the question as
it was read and held several exhibition games. It
worked out fairly well, with the exception of a few
glitches of getting their graphics display program to work
in sync with the moderator. I believe it was
Panasonic's initial intention to convert their entire
tournament to this method for the following year but for
whatever reason that didn't happen and Gallaudet did not
return for PAC 2000.
