Now that Kucha and Ogakor are about to merge, 10
castaways remain in the Outback. I would like to run a
pick'em contest a bit different than the Yahoo contest.
Simply submit your picks, in order, for the top 10 order
of finish.
You score two points for picking
someone in the correct spot (for example, if you choose
Jerri to get voted out next week and finish 10th, and
she gets voted out next week, you earn two points).
You score one point for being one spot off in either
direction. The one exception is for picking the Ultimate
Survivor, which if exactly correct earns you five points
instead of two. Thus a perfect score would be 23. Ties
will be broken based on who has the correct first
place finisher, then second place, and on
down.
The prize is small, but something: since I have
retired from academic competition, I will offer up my
copy of _An Incomplete Education_.
