Well, in The Computer Wore Tennis Shoes, Kurt
Russell (Dexter Reilly) goes on the fritz, and his buddy,
whose name escapes me now, comes up with the answer of
Lebanon, Kansas, to win the game.
There actually
are 2 Head of the Class qb-tpe episodes, one against
Bronx Science, with Billy Chin and the Einstein kid
leading the way for the other team. (I believe the plot
had something to do with Eric Mardian (Brian Robbins)
not wanting to play and showing up midway through the
match.
The other one was against the Soviets, which ended in
a tie when both teams missed "What is the most
common first name in the world?" The Soviets said John,
Arvid said Boris, and the correct answer was, of course
Mohammed. The teams then decided to leave the match a tie.
So goes the policy of detente.
