This year, instead of running the same contest
that's been done in previous years (a ranked list of the
top N teams), I'd like to do something a little bit
different: a prediction contest la the quizzes on "The
Mole."
Basically, questions would either be multiple choice, or
have a numerical answer. Here are a couple of
examples--
"True/False: A team that competed at the Mid-Atlantic
sectional will finish in the top 4."
"Within 5, how
many interrupts will the player with the most
interrupts have?"
"How many female players will there
be, combined, on the teams in the Division II
finals?"
The reason I'm putting this up here is because I'd
like some input on questions to ask. The only things I
ask of questions are:
(1) Questions must be
unambiguous, with one unambiguous answer.
(2) Questions
must not be derogatory or insulting to other teams
(questions poking fun at yourself are fine, though).
(3)
Questions must not rely on 'insider' knowledge.
