1. Agreed. Format is very important. I considered
myself fairly dangerous on NAQT SCT-level questions, but
anything above that I merely became a damn good second
fiddle.

3. Nathan's right,
the level of play has improved a great deal over the
past decade. I think several of the greats of the past
would have merely adjusted their game a bit (maybe
their knowledge was never being tested, merely their
recall speed and association), some would've trained
harder and others probably would be mere mortals.
It may be inane, but it is certainly better than
"Let's see who can anonymously bash Andy the most when
he's not even here to defend himself".
