Well, it hasn't taken long for my original post
to mutate into a thread only tangently related to my
original query, probably due to me not being specific
enough in what I was curious to determine. So now I'm
going to directly rip off Adam's idea of a 16-player
singles tournament, with the change that I'd like to see
who you all would pick as the 16 best
currently-active collegiate players, rather than the 16 greatest
of all time. If you are more comfortable making
separate lists for different formats, feel free to do so.
Also, if you want to order them 1-16 and give reasons
for inclusion or exclusion, I'm sure that would make
for some interesting posts and debates. Anyway, I
hope everyone has fun with this, and I'm curious to
see how this turns out.
