I'll take the blame for this one as I suggested
that the playoff brackets be set up ahead of time.
There were at least 2 such intraschool pairings, as
another occurred in the bracket of 3rd-4th prelim bracket
finishers. If a similar playoff structure is employed next
time, I will not make the same suggestion. (Although
one of the schools actually liked the fact they were
against each other.)

The winner of the tournament
was Archmere, and Charter finished third. I don't
know if either school will go to Ann Arbor. Comcast
Champion Newark had an off day, as they were in the 3/4
playoff bracket, and I think they lost their quarterfinal
in that group. I had Newark in my room losing to
Council Rock (I think) on a packet that ended up being
the hardest of the day (IMHO). The two had a total
score of about 250, which is low on an NAQT packet with
that caliber of teams.

Much congrats to Dave
and the entire UD Academic team, who hosted their
largest event yet, and with a minimum of glitches.
