I think the number has stayed
the same for a while: 1-800-433-8321. When I called
to apply for the San Jose auditions with my cordless
phone, I received repeated busy signals for about twenty
minutes. I then tried dialing with one of the non-corded
campus phones, and got through on the first try. The
recording still asked for birth date and SSN, but then
informed me that all audition spots had been filled.
Cordless/cell phones never seemed to give any trouble with
regular calls.
