Big News for Next Year

Anyway, I was just talking to the powers that be
at Chicago, and they say that Andrew Yaphe is
looking to transfer out of their grad program.
Apparently, he wishes to go somewhere where the competition
isn't quite as stiff.

Yaphe was actually quoted
in practice as saying, "There's too much talent at
this program -- I actually have a supporting cast. I
want to be the only person that matters on a
team."

Rumors have persisted throughout the U of C program as
to his next stop. Major players include Rhodes,
which got a glowing recommendation from former player
Steve Perry, and Delaware, although Yaphe thinks both
may be too strong for him.

When asked, he
said, "They both won at CBI. We all know what a
measurement that tournament is of greatness."

Close
friend John Edwards was also noted to have told Yaphe
that he should consider Howard. "I have a good rapport
with their Honda coach, and I think he'd fit in well
there based on my experience," Edwards
said.

When asked about the departure of their top player,
Chicago captain Ed Cohn simply muttered something and
walked away.

Yaphe's departure leaves a big hole
in the talent vortex of the Midwest. NAQT guru and
Carleton coach Eric Hillemann wondered aloud who would be
able to get the 3.748924759902753029762906% of
Sumerian love poetry questions that were anticipated for
ICT.
