Bonus Conversion and 5-10-15s

<<Anyway, I know you can't write questions
for the back of the field (especially at a national
championship).>>

You *can.* It's just that, generally, you
*shouldn't.*

<<. . . .what *should* overall bonus conversion for a
tournament be?>>

<<ACF Nationals clocked
in at 41.6%, which seems kinda
low.>>

Actually, 41.6% [12.48 PPB] is the average of team bonus
conversion rates. If you actually calculate [bonus points
earned/boni heard], you get 39.1% [11.73 PPB].

For
comparison, the numbers for the 2000 ICT were 44.0% [13.22
PPB] and 41.7% [12.53 PPB], while for the 2001 SCT
they were 58.2% [17.46 PPB] and 55.4% [16.63
PPB].

Fact now, opinion later....
