I don't mean
to be too negative, but I think very few people
would decide where to go to college based on quizbowl
programs. But hey, if you think it's worth it, it would be
an interesting experiment at the least.
And
for Mr. Dinan: You wuz robbed. Those were by far the
hardest back-to-back pre-$1000 questions I've seen. They
were both valid questions to use lifelines on - a poor
job on the part of whoever evaluated the question
difficulty. And they were both in essentially the same
category, household objects. Certainly nothing like naming
third-person pronouns.
