This weird
contrast is just so wrong I had to post. Look, Yaphe is
obviously a world-class jerk. The thing is, "Tiger" is too.
The only difference is Tiger is getting about a
billion dollars to project a smiley image so dumb
consumers won't be scared away from the products he
endorses. I'm guessing that if Yaphe had a similar
contract, he'd be all grins and graciousness as
well.
And I wasn't around when this CBI thing happened, but
it seems to me that if CBI said the winner of their
tournament would go to England and then changed their mind
when they found out a team they didn't like had won
the tournament, I'd be pissed off myself. Kind of
like the Masters saying "Well, we were going to give
the winner a million bucks, but we don't really like
Tiger's attitude this year, so we've changed our minds.
Phil Mickelson, this is your lucky day."
