I think that Goodman, as usual, is right on
target. I've never understand why people think that
Andrew is cocky or arrogant. He acts, as Jenn Wadsack,
once wisely noted, on the assumption that he is as
good as he is, not more and not less. I think that
some people, insecure or arrogant about their own
abilities, would prefer that he be self-depreciating and say
that it's such a surprise that he wins tournaments and
that there are some many other good players and teams
out there and so on. Why should he? These same people
reward politicians who pander to them and stroke their
egos in exchange for their support. Who needs
that?
