This will be of limited interest to most people
on this board, but it's the most relevant place I
could find to post this, and it's certainly weird
enough to post:
I was doing various web searches
on quizbowl and college bowl, marvelling at the
exposure we've got on google (the QB club is in the Open
Directory! Yay!). For no good reason, I decided to search on
my own name.
I found a caption to a photo
with my name in it, and clicked through. Apparently, a
namesake of mine is on the board of the American Chestnut
Foundation.
Which wouldn't be at all germane to this board, except
that the website of the American Chestnut Foundation
is <a href=http://www.acf.org. target=new>http://www.acf.org.</a>
If that's not a
"Bizarro Superman" moment, I don't know what
it.
